Cathy Nelson
Reliable, experienced and dependable are words associated with Escrow Officer Cathy Nelson. Adding to the ICE team, Cathy has earned a reputation for providing outstanding service to her clients and consistently makes a valuable contribution to the excellent service that ICE continually provides.
Beyond her hard work in the office, Cathy represents the International City Escrow, Inc. team in the community as a member of both the Southeast Association of Realtors and the Pacific West Association of Realtors. Cathy served as the treasurer of the Long Beach/South Bay Women’s Council of Realtors for three years and has taught escrow for real estate companies. She currently helps run the Long Beach Broker Preview, Long Beach’s largest real estate networking event, which is co-sponsored by International City Escrow, Inc., First American Natural Hazard Disclosure, and Farmers Insurance.
Working in escrow since 1983, Cathy joined International City Escrow, Inc. in 1989 and is known in the local real estate community for being the go-to person on mobile home and HUD REO escrows. As well, Cathy handles residential, commercial, tracts, short sales and refinances. What Cathy loves best about her job is, “Meeting new people and doing what I can to make the transaction easier.”
